Outstanding A Level Results!
We are delighted to announce that Brentside High School students are celebrating yet another fantastic set of results. Both Vocational and A Level results have improved for the fourth consecutive year with more students than ever getting the top A level grades. Amongst the many success stories are Saif Hussain (A*A* A*) and Dillon Jagatia (A*A*A) who are off to Imperial College to study Mechanical Engineering and Zeeshan Anjum who is now following his dream to become an airline pilot. Headteacher, Arwel Jones said: “We are really proud of the outstanding achievements of all our students who have worked so hard to achieve their goals. The results are a strong reflection of the excellent efforts of students and staff at the school.” Photographed here are students who were amongst the first to arrive to collect their results, celebrating with Mr Jones.
Hider Mahdi, Director of Sixth Form said: “We are delighted with our students’ successes and Brentside’s improving results with 36% of student achieving A*-A grades (compared to the national figure of 26.3%) and 62.5% achieving A*-B. The grades are particularly pleasing given that significant changes to the examination assessment system were introduced for this year’s cohort. The excellent results at A Level have enabled our students to pursue further study at top universities.”
Well done to all our Year 13 students and all the best for the next exciting step in your journey!
