Brentside Sixth Form Celebrates Another Year of Outstanding Results 

Brentside's Year 13 students have once again celebrated outstanding success across both academic and vocational qualifications. The vast majority of students secured high grades, with 90% achieving at least one A*-B grade or Distinction*-Merit and almost two-thirds attaining the highest grade of A*/A or Distinction*/Distinction. BTEC students performed particularly strongly, with more than 97% of grades awarded at Merit or above. These achievements reflect the dedication of our students, the expertise of our staff, and the strong partnership between school and families.  These achievements reflect the dedication of our students, the expertise of our staff, and the strong partnership between school and families.

Based on previous years' outcomes, initial value-added measures for A Levels suggest that student progress is likely to be significantly above the national average for the third consecutive year. This would continue Brentside's outstanding track record of eight years of A Level progress averaging in the top 10% nationally, according to ALPS, demonstrating the consistently high levels of progress students make during their time in the Sixth Form. Progress in vocational qualifications also remains excellent and is expected to be significantly above the national average.
